WYLDE Crafts - Knitting Night

Join us for Wylde’s first community craft night! Bring a knitting or crochet project of your choosing and stay for some socializing, drinks and an art-yarn spinning demo by local fiber artist, Lizz Hill Wiker.

If you’re new to knitting, you can pre-order a materials kit and Lizz will teach you how to knit a super simple scarf. (Fall can't come soon enough!!) You will learn the basics of reading a pattern, holding knitting needles and will master the cast on and the knit stitch. You’ll leave with the tools and skills to complete your very own chunky, wool scarf.

If you’d like knitting instruction but prefer to bring your own yarn and needles, we recommend bringing a skein of super chunky yarn and straight needles (anywhere in the size range US 15-19).
